Jill Pembrook, Realtor-Associate, Office Manager
Jill's connection with Kauai began in 1976 when she started visiting the island with her family as a teenager. Originally from Long Beach, California, Jill began to consider this beautiful island her special "home away from home." Jill and her husband, Tim Pembrook, made Kauai their full time home in 1991, moving here as a young couple with their sons, Jacob and Phillip. A true "Kauai Girl" with a great circle of friends and family, Jill loves the outdoor lifestyle and spends her leisure time at the beach, training for marathons, and raising tropical flowers. She has an island-wide reputation as an excellent cook, especially for her baked goods and fancy desserts. Early in 2005, she joined the Pacific Ocean Properties team as Office Manager/Escrow Coordinator, and earned her real estate sales associate license. For the previous ten years, Jill was with Outrigger Hotels & Resorts as a rental program manager on site at Kiahuna Plantation. About working with Pacific Ocean Properties, Jill says, "I have the best of two worlds - a continuing relationship with the Kiahuna full-time and a full-time position with my longtime friends at Pacific Ocean Properties." Contact Jill at Office: 808-742-6428, Cell: 808-639-3499, or jpembrook1@hawaiiantel.net. |
David Zimmerman, M.D., Realtor
David has been a resident of Kauai since 1986. He is a Colorado native and received his graduate education at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He decided on a life on Kauai as an ideal place to start his family, and is now the proud father of two teenage daughters. David's interest in real estate sales reflects his energy and enthusiasm for working with a broad spectrum of the public, and meeting the challenge of ever-changing situations. "It is a natural second career," he says, "to be involved in something that offers the chance to introduce Kauai ownership opportunities to visitors from around the world." David is an ocean swimmer for his health and a golfer for humility. Contact David at Office: 808-742-6428, Cell: 808-651-4509, or kauaicalls@hawaiiantel.net. |
Bill Thesken, Realtor
Bill arrived on Kauai in the spring of 1977 with a suitcase in one hand and a surfboard in the other in search of the perfect wave. It was the "Luck of the Irish" to have stumbled across such a great spot, which at that time was relatively unknown. Over the years, Bill has surfed, paddled, and hiked all around Kauai. He has played every golf course, pulled taro in Hanalei, fished for ahi off of the Na Pali Coast, and cooled in the waters of Hanakapiai. "The Kauai I love is like a big jungle-shrouded playground surrounded by blue water and waves," says Bill. RE Licensed since 1996, Bill enjoys helping people find and buy their own piece of paradise, with a time-tempered knowledge of the island and its real estate market. Now with three small children, Bill spends most of his time in Pacific Ocean Properties' real estate office and as a soccer and Little League coach while dreaming of those old surfing days. Contact Bill at Office: 808-742-6428, Cell: 808-635-0414, or ocnview@aloha.net |

Prior to permanently moving to Kauai, John resided in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he developed custom homes and enjoyed the fabulous ski conditions. He began selling real estate in 1971 and moved to Kauai's South Shore in 1985 where he began real estate sales in the same office he occupies today. John and his wife, Anne, are both devoted to their teenage daughter, Andreana, who is a young, up-and-coming women's surfing competition champion. Lynda Gill, Realtor Associate
Lynda came to Kauai with her husband, Will, in 1992 and stayed at Kiahuna Plantation. "I am from Huntington Beach, California, and Kauai reminded me then - as it does now - of what rural Orange County was like when I was growing up there," says Lynda. She and her husband wanted to move here, and in 1996 came up with an eight-year plan that got them to Kauai right on schedule in 2004. They bought a condominium at the Kiahuna Plantation in 1998 with plans to sell but they love it so much that they just can't part with it. They live at the Poipu Kai Resort, and with Lynda's office at Kiahuna Plantation, she feels she is living her dream. In addition to being a full time agent, Lynda plays golf and enjoys the beach and wonderful friends and lifestyle she has on Kauai.
